Kayla’s approach to mediation is collaborative, “Mediation Matters” where disputes are concerned.
Kayla has previously worked for the Ministry of Attorney General of Ontario since 2013 in various roles in the Ontario and superior courts. Kayla provides excellent customer service through her award-winning Mediation Firm that was opened in 2016. Kayla’s passion for mediation has been since 2007. Kayla is a Qualified Mediator and Arbitrator and has various certifications. Kayla’s other hat is an Adjudicator at various tribunals in Ontario.
Kayla is an advocate for social justice, equity, diversity and inclusion. In her spare time, she volunteers for the ACLCO Association of Community Legal Clinics of Ontario as a Board Chair Executive Member and she is Co-Chair of the Race Equity and Advisory Committee for that board. Kayla has won The Black Law Students Association – Osgoode Hall Law School Honourable Lincoln Alexander ’53 Award in 2022 for her advocacy in the Black community.
